Cabin charter 2015 - Portocolom
Would you like to sail for a week, have fun, enjoy the sea and learn more about sailing? Then this week is the right one for you! You share this unforgettable experience with 6 - 8 other guests on board. You either rent a berth or a cabin and organize the trip together with us and the other participants. Expenses on board, such as food, fuel consumption and berth fees are shared. A great sailing adventure that is also suitable for beginners.
We sail on our Bavaria 49, equipped with 5 cabins and 3 toilets. The circumnavigation of Mallorca is planned for this week.
As always, we start in Portocolom and continue sailing towards Cala Ratjada past Cap Formentor, with an anchor stop in the rugged bay of Cala Murta. The journey continues to Puerto de Soller, the largest natural harbor in Mallorca. We sail along the spectacular western cliffs to San Telmo. From there it continues around the western cape into the huge Bahia de Palma. The next bay will be chosen together, depending on whether you want to spend nightlife in the city or in a quiet bay.
The next morning we drive to Es Trenc, Mallorca's natural sandy beach, which is very reminiscent of the Caribbean. A small detour to Cabrera, the island (nature reserve) south of Mallorca is always an experience. From there it goes back to Portocolom in our home port.
If you wish, we can also sail around Menorca. The planned route always depends on the weather and can therefore be changed.

Arrival: Saturday until 12 p.m., meeting, shopping and lunch, departure around 5 p.m
Back in Porto Colom: Friday 6 p.m., last night on board possibleCheck out: Saturday 8 a.m
Prices:
2-person cabin 560 euros per person, single cabin 840 euros per person
The price includes: skipper, mooring fees in Porto Colom, bed linen, dinghy with outboard motor, final cleaning, liability insurance, passenger insurance. The price does not include: airport transfer (can be organized on request), meals, fuel consumption and mooring fees outside of Portocolom (will be taken from the Cash box paid), skipper's meals on board, insurance of personal effects.
extra costs
The additional costs are divided by the number of participants (6 - 8). The skipper does not count as a participant. On the day of departure, all participants pay an agreed amount into the cash box, which is kept by a guest.
Experience has shown that the additional costs per person are approx. 100 to 150 euros for normal consumption.
